With personal experience working on several construction projects, Nikolay continually noticed he was short on materials, with no local stock or supplier. As a result, he started Hawaii building Supply, which opened its doors in 2012. It was known by a different name until early this year, when Nikolay found something that better indicated a local, all inclusive company – one that not only offers construction services but also supplies readily available and cost-effective products needed in building and renovation projects.
A nearly 4,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom at Hawaii Building Supply, located at 2959 Koapaka St., offers laminate and vinyl flooring in10 different colors, including exotic colors and traditional hues from light to dark. The vinyl options include glue-less, moisture-proof products that need no underlayment, while the laminate flooring has matching base and transitional moldings. Hawaii building supply also offers hardwood flooring and cabinets, which are prominently displayed in the company’ showroom.
All Cabinets, made solely of wood, can withstand Hawaii’s humidity and include a soft0slosing feature, which prevents the drawers from slamming shut. Cabinets are offered in different colors, including white shaker, natural birch, natural maple and multiple sherry options. Customers can also request custom cabinets design and installation.
